The Tomorrow Accord

An agreement between the New Zealand Government and the NEXT Foundation.

Project Janszoon was a limited life project, designed to transform the ecological prospects of the Abel Tasman National Park with major upfront investment. The Tomorrow Accord ensures the gains made are sustained for future generations.

Signed in 2014 the Accord is an agreement between NEXT Foundation and the Government. 

In practice, once agreed restoration outcomes were achieved, Project Janszoon handed responsibility for maintaining those gains to the Department of Conservation.
