Wheku korero

In the Abel Tasman National Park, above Rākauroa/Anchorage, manuwhenua have gifted a wheku to acknowledge an extraordinary contribution from the Plowman family. Through Project Janszoon they invested over $20 million to restore and preserve the park’s rick wildlife for all to enjoy. This video tells the story of the wheku and it’s significance to the whenua.
