Summer 2025 Newsletter

Project Janszoon is six months out from transitioning its work to the Department of Conservation (DOC). The handover, under the auspices of the Tomorrow Accord, will see DOC continue to maintain the gains made through the generous philanthropy of Neil and Annette Plowman.

Whilst there’s still a fair bit for the board and staff to get through before that date, we’re also taking this time to reflect back on the gains achieved, partnerships made, new learnings, and young people inspired. Some of this is reflected in our 2024-25 Annual Report. We’re released a new video sharing reflections on the work from some key people. Please scroll down to read more about these.

For those who have been with us on this journey, thank you.  We’ll be in touch again before the middle of next year, but for now we wish you a very merry Christmas, and all the best for 2026.

Gill Wratt (Board Chair)

Geoff Button (Project Director)
